Police reached the spot in the case of death of a Japanese citizen in the hotel located in HL City of Bahadurgarh and the hotel where he was staying and in which he died.
A Japanese national died after falling from the eighth floor of Hotel Daiva 37 Avenue, HL City, Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district. It is not yet clear whether he committed suicide by jumping from the 8th floor of the hotel or whether he died due to the fall.

The deceased has been identified as Masato Yamada (53 years), who was a resident of Japan. He was an engineer by profession and was unmarried. This accident happened on Thursday night at around 3.15 pm. Sadar police station received information at 8 in the morning. Police was informed by the hotel management.
On receiving the information, Sadar police station reached the spot and took the body into their custody. The management of Maruti Company was informed about this. As soon as the information was received, company management officials reached the spot. Masato Yamada’s family in Japan were informed by the police after contacting them. The family can reach Bahadurgarh on Saturday. In such a situation, postmortem of the dead body will be done only after the arrival of his family members.
Stayed in the hotel since November 1st
Police investigating officer Naveen Kumar said that according to the information received from the hotel, Masato Yamada was staying in room number 814 of the hotel since November 1. He was alone in the room. On Thursday night at around 3.15 pm, he fell from the 8th floor of the hotel to the roof of the 3rd floor. Due to this he died on the spot.
The investigation so far has not revealed the cause of death.
Police are investigating whether Masato Yamada died by falling from the 8th floor of the hotel or committed suicide. At present the police is scanning the CCTV of the hotel. The investigation so far has not been able to ascertain the cause of death.
His dead body was found lying on the third floor of the hotel on Friday morning. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and kept the body in the civil hospital for postmortem. Sadar police station is investigating the matter.
