Jammu Kashmir Ied Blast Near Akhnoor Loc two Soldiers Martyred Marriage Ann

Jammu-kashmir Ied blast: Two soldiers, including the Army captain, were killed and another injured in the IED blast by suspected militants on Tuesday (11 February 2025) near the Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The martyred soldiers were identified as Captain Karamjit Singh Bakshi and hero Mukesh.

Both soldiers had to get married on the same day

Indian Army hero Mukesh Singh was a resident of Samba district of Jammu. Captain Karamjit Singh and hero Mukesh, who were martyred in this blast, were to be married on the same day on 18 April 2025. Captain Karamjit Singh’s wedding was scheduled in the Sainik Colony of Jammu while Mukesh Singh was married in the RS Pura sector of Jammu. There was an atmosphere of happiness in his ancestral village Bari Kamla regarding the marriage of hero Mukesh Singh. Another house was built near his house, where his wedding rituals were to be held.

Weeds mourned in the martyr’s house

Mukesh Singh’s father is a retired sub -inspector from Jammu and Kashmir Police. He has another brother in his family, who is serving in the Indian Army. Mukesh also has two sisters who are married. As soon as the news of Mukesh Singh’s sacrifice reached his family and village, weeds fell everywhere. In the house where the wedding preparations were going on, there was a complete silence.

Army personnel were patrolling in Bhattal area on Tuesday, when there was a big explosion near the outpost at 3:50 pm and the security forces were hit.
