Jammu kashmir CM Omar Abdullah Travel by Vande Bharat

In view of the decrease in the number of tourists after the Pahalgam terror attack, Omar Abdullah is constantly trying to woo tourists.

Recently, Farooq Abdullah, president of the National Conference and father of Omar Abdullah, also traveled from Vande India and reached Katra.

On June 6, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat train running from Katra in Jammu region. The journey from Srinagar to Katra by train is only three hours.

There are 36 tunnels and hundreds of bridges on this rail track, including the Chinav railway bridge, which is the highest bridge in the world and is 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Anji cable-set bridge on this railway link is the first such railway bridge in the country. Both these bridges are considered a miracle of engineering.

This railway line is like a boon for the Kashmir region. Indeed, Jammu-Srinagar National Highway is often blocked due to landslides, soil collapse, stone fall and accidents.

On June 6, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah praised it and said that many people saw the dream of this rail, the British also saw these dreams. His dream was to connect Kashmir with rail in Uri on the banks of Jhelum. The British who could not fulfill, was your (PM Modi) hands.
