29 year old Aaqib Nabi Dar comes from Jammu and Kashmir. He has created quite a stir in Indian domestic cricket in the last months. So far in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he has taken 15 wickets in 7 matches. His economy rate in this tournament is less than 8 and his biggest specialty is swinging the ball. Aaqib Nabi has been a net bowler for Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Aaqib Nabi Dar has been performing brilliantly in Ranji Trophy before this also. He was the only fast bowler to take a 5-wicket haul in the first phase of the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season. In the current season of Ranji Trophy, he has taken 29 wickets in 9 innings so far. His performance helped Jammu and Kashmir qualify for the knockout stage.
