According to a news from Sports Star, the first match of IPL 2025 will be played on March 21. The final match will be played on 25th May. This tournament was earlier scheduled to start on March 14. But now the schedule has been changed. Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Stadium is going to get a big opportunity. The first two quarter final matches will be played here. According to reports, Rajiv Gandhi himself gave an update on IPL.
The final will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata –
Kolkata Knight Riders became the champion in IPL 2024. Therefore, this time the final match will be held in Eden Gardens. Along with this, the playoff matches will also be played here. The Board of Control for Cricket in India will hold a meeting regarding this soon.
Big update also received regarding WPL 2025 –
According to reports, an important decision is going to be taken regarding the Women’s Premier League 2025. This time four venues will be selected for the tournament. WPL matches will be played in four cities. This includes Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore and Vadodara. However, till now no update has been received regarding the date of the tournament.
What was the result of the last season of IPL?
The final match of IPL 2024 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. KKR performed strongly and won the match by 8 wickets. If we talk about the points table of the tournament, KKR was on top. He played a total of 14 matches. During this period, 9 matches were won and 3 were lost. Whereas Hyderabad had won 8 out of 14 matches.
