Axar patel fined in ipl 2025: In IPL 2025, Delhi Capital captain Akshar Patel has been fined Rs 12 lakh due to a slow over rate against Mumbai Indians. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson was also fined for slow over rate.

Since this was the first crime of Akshar team under Article 2.22 of the IPL code of conduct, Patel has been fined Rs 12 lakh. If he commits the same crime again, he will be fined 24 lakhs.

Sanju Samson’s team repeated crime

At the same time, RR’s previous slow over rate crime was under the captaincy of Ryan Parag, when he was fined Rs 12 lakh after winning the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. However, in that game, Samson was playing as a player due to his finger injury. In such a situation, Rajasthan Royals committed crime again, so Sanju Samson was fined Rs 24 lakh.
