- Boora is an inspector of Haryana Police: This dispute took place on Thursday during the ongoing two-day (4-5 November) Wrestling Haryana Senior State Championship 2025 in Umra village of Hansi, Hisar. The dispute happened with Haryana’s international player Nirmal Bura. Nirmal is an Inspector in Haryana Police and is currently posted in Madhuban, Karnal.
- Organizers stopped playing: Nirmal Bura told that he had received the invitation letter from the organizing organization on 30th November to participate in the competition, whereas the district level competition was held on 15th November. When she reached to play on Thursday, the organizers refused to let her compete saying that she had not participated in district level competitions. Therefore, she is not eligible to play directly in the state level competition.

He had also talked to the Wrestling Federation in this regard, from where no objection was raised to playing. General Secretary of Wrestling Organization said- Welcome to future competitions On the other hand, Rakesh Singh, Vice President of Haryana Olympic Association and General Secretary of Wrestling Haryana Organization, said that as per the policy of the Federation, only those players are sent to the national level, who prove their mettle by playing at the district level.
Rakesh Singh argued, “A player who has qualified by winning five matches and a player who wants to directly play state or national without playing at the district level, it will be unfair to other players.”
He clarified that for this reason Nirmal Bura was not allowed to play. Rakesh Singh also acknowledged that Nirmal is an excellent international player and will be welcomed in future competitions.

Nirmal Bura is a resident of Hisar. Nirmal Bura is the daughter of Ghirai village of Hisar and is currently working as an Inspector in Haryana Police. He has had an illustrious sporting career. He achieved the title of national champion in 2001. Won gold medal at the Commonwealth Championships in Canada in 2007.
