The double murder has caused sensation in Lajpat Nagar-1 area of South-Eastern Delhi late on Wednesday night. The mistress scolded the servant Mukesh for not paying the money. He was so angry with this scolding that he brutally murdered Mistress Ruchika Sevani (42) and his son Krish (14). The body of the woman was found under the bed in the bedroom, while the body of son Krish was found in the bathroom. The police handed over the bodies of both of them to the family members on Thursday afternoon after post -mortem of AIIMS.

The killer was running away from Bihar, caught in train
South-East District Deputy Commissioner of Police Hemant Tiwari said that the accused servant Mukesh (24), a resident of Bihar, was arrested by the UP Police by a train at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction when he was fleeing Bihar by train. The Deputy Commissioner of Police said that the matter came to light when the police control room (PCR) came from Lajpat Nagar resident Kuldeep Sevani (PCR) that his wife Ruchika (42) and 14 -year -old son are not picking up the phone and there are blood stains on the stairs of his house. He said in a statement that when the PCR van and Lajpat Nagar police reached, the main door of the house was closed from inside. Blood stains were found on the stairs leading to the house.

Mukesh used to work from home to shop
The police broke the door of the house and entered inside. The bodies of Ruchika and his son were recovered inside the house. Ruchika’s body was found in the bedroom whose throat was very much desert and the son’s body was recovered from the bathroom. He said that both were murdered with a sharp weapon. Blood was scattered all over the house. The woman’s neck was cut up to 80 per cent. According to police officials, Mukesh was working with the family for three-four years. Although he was working as a domestic assistant, Kuldeep and Ruchika also assisted him in the clothing shop in Lajpat Nagar market and also worked as his driver.

Husband and wife used to run shops
The Deputy Commissioner of Police said that Kuldeep and Ruchika used to run the shop together. He has a clothing shop in the Central Market of Lajpat Nagar. His son studied in class X.

Murdered between seven and eight o’clock
Another police officer associated with the investigation said that prima facie the incident took place between 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm on Wednesday. During the day, the woman scolded Mukesh, which she did so to avenge. He first killed the woman by strangling and then killed the boy. Police said that a case has been registered in connection with the incident and investigation is on.
