If you travel long distances in mail/express or AC trains, then today i.e. from 1 July 2025 you will have to bear a little more rent. But there will be no change for passengers traveling by local train daily. The Ministry of Railways has increased the fares of non-AC trains along with AC, which is being implemented today i.e. from 1 July 2025.

Railways have increased the fare of non-viated category in mail and express trains from July 1 and the fare of all air-conditioned categories has been increased by 2 paise per kilometer. Railway Ministry officials indicated the proposed fare amendment on 24 June. However, the official circular circular with the rent table was released on Monday as per trains and category categories.
