In a meeting on the issue of modernizing peace military campaigns in the United Nations, India’s permanent representative P Harish said that the United Nations peace military operations now face many threats, including the presence of armed forces, the threat of terrorists and international crime networks. ‘There should also be adequate funding of peace military campaigns’

He said that ‘India is keen to prepare its courses according to modern challenges in its United Nations Peace Establishment Centers. These centers have been training national and international peace soldiers for more than two decades. Harish said that peaceful military campaigns need modern surveillance, communication and data analytic tools, as well as quick reaction capabilities. He said that peaceful military campaigns should also get adequate funding and the global South countries who sent most of their soldiers in peace campaigns are very concerned about it. Explain that 5384 soldiers of India are deployed in peace military campaigns and India is among the largest contributing countries.
