India T20 Squad Vs SA Players Update; Suryakumar Yadav Hardik Pandya | Jasprit Bumrah | Indian team announced for South Africa T20 series: Shubman and Hardik return; World Cup jersey also launched

BCCI announced the Indian team for the T-20 series against South Africa. Jasprit Bumrah was rested from ODI and included in T-20. Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill also returned to the team. The T-20 series will start from December 9.

BCCI gave this information on its social media handle. On Wednesday itself, the board also launched the jersey for the T-20 World Cup in Raipur.

The T-20 team will be captained by Suryakumar Yadav. Vice-captain Shubhman Gill will return after about two weeks. However, they will be able to play the match only after getting fitness clearance. He was injured in the Kolkata Test. Hardik Pandya is also returning to the team after 73 days. He was injured during the match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

Indian team for T-20 series Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dubey, Axar Patel, Jitesh Sharma, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakraborty, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, Washington Sundar.

Rinku and Reddy have no chance Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy, who were part of the last T20 series against Australia, did not get a chance in the squad. On the Australia tour, Rinku was given only one match, but he could not bat. He is currently playing T-20 for Uttar Pradesh in the Mushtaq Ali Tournament.

World Cup jersey also launched in Raipur BCCI also launched the new jersey of Team India for the T-20 World Cup starting from 7th February. The jersey was launched in Raipur in the presence of BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia. During this, T-20 team’s Tilak Verma and tournament’s brand ambassador Rohit Sharma were also present.

Hardik Pandya hits fifty in Mushtaq Ali All-rounder Hardik Pandya was injured in the Asia Cup. Due to an injury sustained in the Super-4 stage match, he could not play the final against Pakistan on 28 September. Despite this, Team India won the title by winning by 5 wickets.

Hardik now made a comeback by scoring a fifty in the domestic T-20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. While playing for Baroda, he scored 77 runs and also took 1 wicket.

Hardik Pandya returned to the field from the Syed Mushtaq Ali T-20 tournament.

Shubman was injured in Kolkata test India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill was injured during the first Test against South Africa. While batting in the first innings, he felt a strain in his neck after playing a sweep shot. After which he retired hurt. He was admitted to the hospital, where it was revealed that he was not currently fit to play cricket.

Vice captain Gill definitely got a chance in the T-20 team, but he may probably remain out of the initial matches. He will be fielded in the match only after getting fitness clearance from the medical team.

Shubman Gill was injured while batting in the Test against South Africa.

The series will start from December 9th The second match of the ODI series between South Africa and India was played in Raipur. The third ODI will be played on 6 December. Then the 5 T-20 series will start from 9th December. 5 matches will be played on 9, 11, 14, 17 and 19 December. Whose venues are Cuttack, Mullanpur, Dharamshala, Lucknow and Ahmedabad. Considering the preparations for the World Cup, this series is important for both the teams.
