India had issued NOTAM i.e. Note to Airmen regarding the testing of long range missile. This NOTAM was issued between 1-4 December. During this period, a warning was issued to air forces and commercial airlines of all countries against flying in the NOTAM area.
Even in the month of October, India had canceled the NOTAM for a long-range missile after issuing it. At that time Chinese spy ships had reached the Indian Ocean. During that time an American research vessel was also present in Maldives. However, regarding the American ship, the Indian Navy had clarified that it was not present in the Indian Ocean to spy on India.

Last week, the Vice Chief of the Indian Navy, Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, had made a public statement in this regard arguing that India keeps a close watch on all naval ships and submarines coming to the Indian Ocean. Even at this time, 04 spy ships of China have reached the Indian Ocean. The fourth ship has entered the Indian Ocean on Friday (28 November 2025).
China is coming in the way of India’s missile testing program
According to the information, China’s Lan Hai-101 research vessel has entered the Bay of Bengal through Malacca Strait on Friday. This ship is preparing to go to Galle port of Sri Lanka. The special thing is that whenever India conducts any major missile test, Chinese spy-ships reach Sri Lanka or Maldives. India has raised this issue from time to time with neighboring countries.
Apart from Lan Hi-101, Lan Hi-201 is also present in the Indian Ocean in the name of Aquaculture Research and Survey. A third Chinese survey vessel, Xi Yan-6, is also preparing to go to Port Louis, Mauritius. A fourth Chinese ship named Sheen Hai Yo Hao is also heading from Diego Garcia to Malacca State.
