India Vs South Africa T20 Series 2025: The fourth match of the ongoing 5-match T20 series between India and South Africa was to be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, but the match had to be canceled due to dense fog, after which the fans looked angry and one fan said that he had sold three sacks of wheat to watch the match, now his ticket money should be refunded. The fourth T20 International match to be played in Lucknow was canceled due to poor visibility. A layer of dense fog surrounded the Ekana Stadium, raising serious questions on the BCCI’s decision to hold the matches in northern India during the winter months.
A fan asked for the ticket money back
After the cancellation of Team India’s fourth match against South Africa, the fans were seen angry while coming out of the stadium. He said that he kept us sitting for three and a half hours. In the name of inspecting the ground, the match time was being extended by half an hour so that the time could be passed somehow.

AQI remained above 400 in Lucknow
The Lucknow T20 International was officially abandoned without a single ball being bowled due to ‘extreme fog’, but the truth was that a thick blanket of pollution and fog had engulfed the Ekana Stadium, reducing visibility to very low levels. On Wednesday i.e. December 17, 2025, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Lucknow remained above 400, due to which the BCCI is raising serious questions about the safety of the players.
The final match of T20 series will be held in Ahmedabad
BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla came to the field during the inspection, but after talking to the match officials, disappointment was clearly visible in his body language. Due to there being no reserve day, both the teams will now go to Ahmedabad for the final T20 International match to be held on Friday i.e. December 19, 2025.
