Third Indian captain to do so

Shubman Gill, who scored a century in 2 consecutive Tests against England as captain, has become the third captain of India. Earlier, Vijay Hazare Nape (at Delhi and Brabourne Stadium in 1951–1952) and Mohammad Azharuddin (in 1990 in Lodors and Treffer) did this.
