President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is facing impeachment in South Korea, has been arrested. South Korean authorities have taken action in cases related to the declaration of martial law on December 3. Earlier in the morning, more than 3,000 police officers and anti-corruption investigators gathered near Yeol’s residence. During this, Yeol’s supporters and members of the ruling People’s Power Party were seen clashing with the security forces. There was a fierce fight between the two. Many people were also detained. However, amidst this high voltage drama, South Korean authorities arrested Yoon Suk Yeol.
