A PC-7 Pilatus basic trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near Tambaram, Chennai on Friday during a routine training flight. Luckily the pilot came out safely in time, so there is no news of any loss of life or property.

Committee formed to investigate the accident

The Air Force said the flight was part of a normal training mission. To find out the exact cause of the accident, a Court of Inquiry (Investigation Committee) has been constituted, which will conduct a detailed investigation of the incident. Relief and security teams were immediately dispatched to the incident site. The local administration has also helped the Air Force. After this accident, the Air Force said that the safety of flights is their biggest priority and necessary steps will be taken after the investigation report comes.
