Mohsin Naqvi’s latest statement

Mohsin Naqvi wrote in her recent social media post, “Indian media is based on lies, not the facts. I want to clear one thing. I have not done anything wrong nor have I apologized to BCCI nor will she ever apologize. These false rumors are just propaganda, which aims to mislead my own people only.”

He further wrote in his post, “Unfortunately India has been continuously penetrating politics in cricket, hurting the spirit of the game. As the President of ACC, I was ready to give the trophy on the same day and is still ready to give. If they want to take the trophy, they are very welcome to come to the ACC office and take the trophy.”

Earlier, it was told that there was a fierce debate on the trophy issue in the Asian Cricket Council meeting. According to sources, Naqvi accused the Indian players of insulting them after the final match. In the meeting, India’s representative Rajiv Shukla had made it clear that the Asia Cup Trophy is the property of ACC, no one has personal rights on it.
