Pakistani Hindus celebrated Holi with great enthusiasm amidst tight security at the Krishna temple of Lahore. The Holi celebrations were organized on Thursday (March 13, 2025) by the ‘Evacui Trust Property Board’ (ETPB), which takes care of the places of worship of the minorities. The Krishna temple was decorated with colorful lights. There was a festive atmosphere in the temple premises.
On this occasion, the cake was cut and traditional sweets were distributed to the guests and offerings were distributed. The women danced to the tune of various songs, especially on Amitabh Bachchan, to the tune of “Rang Barse Bhigi Chunarwali” and painted each other. ETPB Additional Secretary Saifullah Khokhar said that special puja recitation and Holi celebrations were also organized in other temples.

The festival of colors in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh was celebrated peacefully with traditional enthusiasm amidst tight security arrangements in view of Holi and Juma’s prayers on the same day.
Officials said that on the occasion of Holi, the traditional ‘Chaupai procession’ was also taken out in Sambhal city. There is a stress -like situation in Sambhal since the furious riots after the survey of the royal Jama Masjid on 24 November last year. The prayers of Juma were offered in the mosque at 2.30 pm. Sadar Zafar Ali of the mosque had earlier urged the members of both communities to celebrate Holi and offer prayers in a cordial atmosphere.
