Hero Motocorp Launches Electric Scooter Vida VX2, More than 142 km range, Know price, specifications, Ola Electric, TVS Motor, Bajaj Auto
Hero Motocorp, one of the big two-wheeler companies, launched the electric scooter Vida VX2 on Tuesday. Along with this, the company has launched a new category ‘Evooter’ in electric mobility. Its initial price is Rs 59,490 (ex-showroom).

Company Ev Brand Vida claims that it combines sustainability, intelligence and performance of an electric vehicle with comfort, design and per day needs of a scooter. The Vida VX2 has been brought into two battery options of 2.2 kwh and 3.4 kwh.

This electric scooter BAAS option will also be available with the ‘pay-ease-u-go’ subscription system. With this, according to the customers cost, separate finance of scooters and batteries will be done. It will have a range of subscription plans based on both daily and monthly use methods. With this, customers will be able to pay based on the actual use of their electric scooters and they will not have to worry about the battery situation or change. Its 2.2 kwh battery variants are about 92 km and 3.4 kwh variants of about 142 kilometers.

Vida VX2 Specifications

It is the only electric scooter offering remote immobilization and cloud connectivity in this segment. It has a 4.3 inch LCD unit and 4.3 inch TFT screen. Its screen can be integrated with a smartphone. This can provide statistics and firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updates associated with ride. The Vida VX2 features fast charging facility so that its battery can be charged up to 80 percent in just 60 minutes.

This electric scooter has been brought in two variants – VX2 Plus and VX2 Go. Their BAAS options are worth Rs 54,490 and Rs 64,990 (ex-showroom) respectively. The price of these variants will increase without BAAS option. For these, the Baas plan will start from Rs 0.96 per kilometer. The company’s Vida brand’s charging ecosystem is growing rapidly. This includes more than 3,600 fast charging stations and more than 500 service points in more than 100 cities. The company is working on a low cost EV platform, ACPD. This is likely to be the same as scooters with the upcoming Vida electric scooters of Hero MotoCorp.
