The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for a rapid increase in temperature and heat stroke for the next four days. The maximum temperature of the day in the area is expected to reach above 40 degrees Celsius.

According to the weather observatory of Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), the maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius and the minimum night temperature was 22.1 degrees Celsius. But the mercury will climb more in the next few days.

The hot winds that run during the day can affect the health of the heat. The elderly, children and sick persons have been advised to take special vigilance.
