The Home Minister said, after the order of the Supreme Court and the High Court in Bengal, cases have been registered in the case of electoral violence. The people of Trinamool do not consider the Supreme Court and the High Court. On this, Trinamool MP Sushmita Dev said, how much these people speak, but we do not say anything. Seeing the sharp debate in the House, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said to Gokhale, take back the statement you have given. On this, Gokhale said, I will not take it back. Because your name is Amit Shah, it does not mean that you will dictatorship.

Announcement of new policy for toll tax on national highways soon: Gadkari
At the same time, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Wednesday in the Rajya Sabha that the government will soon announce a new policy for toll tax on national highways. In this, consumers will be given proper relaxation. Gadkari said in the Rajya Sabha, the government is spending a lot on the construction of road infrastructure and hence toll charge is necessary. It is the policy of the ministry that when you want a good road, you have to pay for it. The Union Minister said, we are building roads to take four and six. The central government is building several bridges on the Brahmaputra river. Our ministry is collecting money from the market. So we cannot do this without toll. But we are charging toll only at four lanes, not two lanes.

Committee is considering satellite based toll
Gadkari said, the apex committee constituted to consider ways to introduce satellite-based highway toll collection systems has recommended further consultations regarding security and confidentiality. The apex committee with experts in industry and education and high-level rights committee has recommended further consultation for satellite based toll tax keeping in view the concerns related to security and secrecy.
