- Cricket starts from the age of 11: Anshul started playing cricket at the age of just 11. His father Udham Singh is a farmer, who himself is interested in cricket. Recognizing the son’s interest, he admitted him to the academy of Karnal’s coach Satish Rana. Coach Satish says that Anshul never tied up in practice. He is an all -rounder. Batting with bowling is also strong.
- Left the village for training, Karnal shifted: In the initial days, Anshul had to go from Fazilpur village to Karnal daily. The distance of Indri bus stand from Fazilpur village is about 8 kilometers. He used to leave the village for Indri bus stand. If a means was found on the way, he would have reached the Indri bus stand in 10 minutes. If the instrument was not found, then he would run or walk to the Indri bus stand, which used to take more than half an hour. However, the series stopped when Anshul Karnal shifted to 2020. After that he did his schooling in OPS Vidyamandir and from here it became easier for cricket training.
- Selected for Ranji Trophy in 2022: Anshul made her domestic cricket debut in February 2022 with a Ranji Trophy match against Tripura. Soon after, he also got a chance in limited overs matches and took 17 wickets in 10 matches in the 2023-24 season and gave Haryana the title.
- 10 wickets in an innings in Ranji Trophy: In November 2024, in the Group-C match of Ranji Trophy against Kerala, Anshul made history by taking 10 wickets for 49 runs in 30.1 overs. He became the third Indian fast bowler to do this feat in Ranji. Earlier in 1956, Premangshu Chatterjee and Pradeep Sundaram took 10 wickets in an innings in 1985. Apart from this, Anshul also caught the attention of the selectors by taking five wickets in the board matches.

Mumbai Indian gave first opportunity: Anshul was noticed by IPL teams thanks to a spectacular performance in cricket.
