Guna Farmer Murder Case: More Than Seven Accused Arrested From Up Fatehgarh Border – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

Police has taken major action in the murder case of 40-year-old farmer Ramswaroop Dhakad in Ganeshpura village of Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. Police have arrested a total of eight accused so far. Late on Wednesday night, near Fatehgarh border of UP, police caught four accused, who were trying to escape.

Guna SP Ankit Soni said that till now a total of eight accused Naveen, Kanhaiya, Harish, Nitesh, Mahendra, Lokesh, Hukum and Jitendra have been arrested. The remaining six accused are still absconding, who will be arrested soon. A reward of Rs 10,000 each was announced on all of them.

Land dispute turns deadly

According to the family members of the deceased, there was a dispute going on in the village for a long time regarding possession of the land. On Sunday afternoon, Ramswaroop was going to his farm when Mahendra Nagar and his 10-15 associates attacked him. The accused beat him with sticks and ran a Thar vehicle over him, due to which both his arms and legs were broken.

Ramswaroop’s brother and two daughters, who came to save him, were also abused and their clothes were torn. The family members hurriedly took the injured Ram Swaroop to the district hospital, from where he was referred to Bhopal. He died before the treatment could begin.

Former Sarpanch main accused, discussion of political relations

The main accused is said to be the former sarpanch of Mahendra Nagar Ganeshpura village. His pictures with many big politicians are going viral on social media.

Police increased sections, investigation intensified

The police had earlier registered a case in this matter under other sections including attempt to murder. But after the death of Ramswaroop, now section 302 (murder) has been added. At present the police is conducting raids in search of the remaining absconding accused.
