In Gujarat, fraud victims and complainants will no longer have to visit police stations. The victims will be able to file their complaint online. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched two portals and ‘Tera Tujhko Arpan’ to improve civil-centered police services. These portals are to file complaints regarding cyber crime refund. Apart from this, the Chief Minister launched an app to request to open the freeze bank accounts.

Currently, every stage of investigation requires filling forms, such as filing FIRs, making panchnama, arresting the accused and filing charge sheet, etc. The complainant will receive SMS on the completion of one of these four major stages through a portal (automatically generated and timely information report through information reports) a part of the e-Gujkop system (automatically produced through the accurate and timely information report). According to a government release, the complainant will continue to get complete information about the progress of the investigation.

Tera Tujhko Arpan portal will accelerate money refund
‘Tera Tujhko Arpan’ portal will expedite the return of money to citizens who lose their money in cyber crime. The release states that this portal will benefit citizens and police stations by streamlining the refund process and improving the overall efficiency of cyber crime solution.
Complainants will be able to request the bank account to be unfriended without going to the police station personally
The CM launched another application designed for online submissions to unfriend the freeze bank accounts. When a complaint related to online financial crime is made on the cybercrime helpline 1930, the bank account of the accused person is freeze through the NCRP portal to prevent diversion of money received from fraud. This new application allows the applicants of any state of India to request the Gujarat Police to unfriend their bank accounts without personally leaving.

Applicant will get information through email if the bank account is unfriend
Complainants can submit an online request, get an application number, and track the situation through their contact number or WhatsApp from home. When their bank account becomes unfinished, the application informs the applicant via email, which eliminates the requirement of phone calls or other forms of contact.
