Google’s ‘Find My Device’ will now be known by this new name features have also also changed

Google find my device: Google has introduced a new form of its popular feature Find My Device, which will now be known as “Find Hub”. During the Android Show event, which was held just a week before Google I/O 2025, the company announced that this service would now be more powerful and wider than before.

This service of Google, which was limited to finding only lost Android phones or devices, will now be able to track many other items. This will include features such as location tracking, new Bluetooth tags, and partnership with many airline companies through satellite.

Launched in 2013

Initially this feature was an Android option of Apple’s Find My. But last year it made a big change, when Google started a Crowdsourced network that allowed to find personal items with the help of third party Bluetooth trackers like Chipolo and Pebblebee.

Now Google has added many other partners to it, whose devices already have location tracking. This includes luggage brands like July and Mokobara, whose bags can now be tracked easily. Along with peak integration, things like ski can also be tracked now. New Bluetooth tags of Pixbee for children and family are also connecting with this system. In addition, by the end of this month, users will be able to find Moto Tags of Motorola with the help of Ultra-WideBand (UWB) technology.

Satellite-based tracking support will come by the end of 2025

Google also informed that the facility of satellite-based location finding will be started by the end of 2025. This will make it possible to find the lost devices in those places where mobile networks or internet is not available.

Now connection will also be available with airlines

Google has also announced partnership with many international airlines so that passengers can make their luggage tracking easier. This partnership comes after Apple’s Find My Airline Integration. Airlines associated with Google include Aer Lingus, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia, and Singapore Airlines.
