Google search to use one domain for users in all world
Google is making a big change in providing its search service worldwide. Till now users from different countries were taken to their local Google Domain. Such as Google.co.uk in the UK, Google.FR in France or Google.co.in in India etc. For many years, special websites have been available for different countries and used to provide local search results, but now it is going to change. Let us know about it in detail.

From now on, Google has announced that it will start slowing down the top level domain with these countries code and all will be redirected to the primary Google.com domain. At the global level, this change is part of the Google plan to make the search working working easier, while the results are still being given on the basis of the current location of the users.

This change is not new at all in case of way of handling the search result. In fact, since 2017, Google has been providing users the most relevant search results using real time physical location, whether you are using any country’s domain. So even if you have typed Google.com, but if you were traveling in Italy, your results will be at the local level of Italy. Now the company is making the bus domain based on experience, which will have a web address for all.

Google says that this update is slowly rolling out. In the coming few months, users will see this change. Once the switch is completed, users will automatically be redirected on Google.com by typing a special URL for a country like Google.CA or Google.com.au. However, this change will not affect the method of searching search. Some users may need to reset language or region settings.

The company has also confirmed that updates will not affect legal rules or how to manage content based on local level laws. So even though URL will now show Google.com, you will still get local content and results on your place. If you are in Japan, then you will see search results on the basis of Japan, if you are in Brazil, then the results will come according to that place. Google says that this step will help in creating easy and more unified experience for users. With the growth of mobile and AI based tools in the search, the company believes that domain name has become less necessary, as location data works the most at the local level.
