Google rolls out iPhone like Find Fam and Friends Feature Here is how it will work

After a long wait, finally a feature with iPhone has come on Android. In the new update, Google has started rolling out the features “Find Fam & Friends” designed to keep friends and family safe. In the March update, it has been first made available in the pixel device and in the coming weeks it will be rolled out for all users around the world. Let’s know how this feature will work.

With the help of this feature, it will be easy for the user to know the location of their friends and family members. As soon as any of your family members or friends reach a place like mall, college or office, this feature will notify you. Similarly, it sends notifications even when it reaches home. This feature reduces the user’s concern about the safety of family members or friends who went out somewhere. Now users will not have to send their location separately. This feature under the name “Check-in” was included in the iPhone about 2 years ago.

How will this feature work?

Google has integrated this feature in Find My App. Now a new tab named “People” will be seen in this app. With this help, users can share live and current location with their family members and friends. The location shared from here will be seen in the Find My App in the family member’s phone. The time period can also be set for privacy. The user can select the time period in it. The location will be shared with another user only for that time. After the completion of the time, the location sharing will stop.
