Golden opportunity for MBBS and BDS admission in Bihar, UGMAC 2025 registration date increased

There is great news for students dreaming of medical studies in Bihar. Bihar Joint Entrance Competition Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the last date of online application and choice filling for the first round of Under Graduate Medical Admission Counseling (UGMAC) 2025. Now students can apply till 6 August 2025. This opportunity is for all those candidates who have passed the NEET UG 2025 examination and want to enroll in medical, dental or vetteri colleges in Bihar.

This time the improvement in registration, fees payment and application can be done by 10 pm on August 6. At the same time, the final deadline of choice filling and locking has been fixed till 11:59 pm on August 6. That is, now students have got some more time to choose colleges and courses of their choice.

In the latest notice issued by the board, it has been told that the rank card will be issued on 8 August 2025. After this, the result of round-1 seat allotment will be released on August 14. Students who will be allotted college, can download their allotment letter from August 14 to 19. At the same time, the process of checking and admission of documents will run from 16 to 19 August.

Where will admission be?

Through this counseling, there will be admission in courses like MBBS, BDS, BVSC and AH in government and private medical and dental colleges of Bihar. For this, students will have to register by visiting BCECEB’s official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Students who have already registered can improve their information and new candidates can complete the application process.

Choice filling is most important in this process. In this, students determine the priority of colleges of their choice. If a student does not lock the choice, then his priorities will not be saved and there may be trouble in allotment. Therefore, the board has advised the students not to forget to fill and lock the choice after the application.

The board has taken this step due to a change in the counseling schedule by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), so that the counseling process can be coordinated at the state level.
