The issue of Rohingya refugees in the country is gaining momentum. Meanwhile, a new writ petition has been filed in the Supreme Court, claiming that the police took 43 Rohingya refugees into custody and the Government of India forcibly sent them to Myanmar via Port Blair. At the same time, the petitioner has also called for honor by recalling the victims, compensation of 50 lakhs and a permit for their stay.

The case will be heard on 31 July
The petitioner told the court that a group of UN refugee high yoga (UNHCR) card holder was arrested by the police late on May 7 and he was deployed despite the hearing of the case on 8 May. However, the court listed the case for 31 July without passing any interim instructions.
The Supreme Court bench of Justice Suryakant, Justice Dipankar Dutta and Justice N. Kotishwar Singh is currently hearing cases related to the exile of Rohingya refugees and their living status.
At the same time, two Rohingya refugees in Delhi have filed a new PIL, alleging that some refugees of their group were arrested by the Delhi Police on the pretext of collecting biometric data.
Refugees released on international maritime border
After the arrest, he was kept in various police stations. He was then taken to Port Blair, where he was forcibly climbed on the navy ships. His hands were tied and blindfolded. They include women, children and elderly.

According to Live Law, the petitioners claimed that the children were separated from their mother during forcibly exile and the members of the families were distributed.
Demand for compensation of 50 lakhs
The petitioners have demanded instructions to the Government of India, among other things, that they should not arrest or detain the Rohingya with UNHCR card, treat them with respect and dignity and ensure that their human rights are not violated in any way.
He has also demanded a compensation of Rs 50 lakh to each of the Rohingya exiled and the UNHCR card holders to re -start residence permits as per domestic refugee policy.
