Gangster Aman Sao Killed in Encounter with Police in Jharkhand Palamu Latest News Update – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

Officials said the incident took place a day after the state’s statement of the state’s Director General of Police Anurag Gupta, in which he said that most of the crimes in Jharkhand are hatched inside the jails and they are carried out with the help of criminal gangs.

According to officials, the encounter took place on Tuesday morning when the accused in more than 150 cases and the gangster convicted in some cases were being brought to Ranchi from Raipur Jail in neighboring Chhattisgarh. Manibhushan Prasad, a sub -divisional police officer (SDPO) of Medininagar, said that suddenly the gang members of Sao attacked the vehicle in which he was being brought. An attempt was made to get rid of the arrest of the Aman police near Andheritola in Ramgarh police station area. This was followed by firing, in which Sao was killed. Another policeman was also injured in the shootout.

Encounter after DGP’s statement

Jharkhand DGP Gupta told news agency PTI that Aman Sao alias Aman Sahu was being brought from Raipur to Ranchi. IG Operation Amol Homkar has reached the spot. Earlier, the DGP had said on Monday that three gangsters- Vikas Tiwari, Aman Srivastava and Aman Sao are running their work from inside the jails. Under its investigation, raids have been conducted in Simdega and Hazaribagh jails.
