‘Such incidents are less accident, plans seem more’
In a conversation with Amar Ujala Digital, BN Tiwari said, ‘Every time the set burns and then the insurance claim is taken. This has become common now. Such incidents are less accident, plan more. There is no fire safety audit in Film City. Cylinders keep it, but no one sees what their expiry date is. Fire extinguishers are only for showing.
‘Union is now going to take action in this case’
BN Tiwari said on the matter that it is being told that the fire started from the South Side, but in reality no one knows the truth. No report is clear. We cannot sit silent on it. Accusing big producers and filmmakers directly, he said, ‘The truth is that directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali have also set fire on the set for insurance claim. Actually it should be closed now. Otherwise every set will one day become an excuse for insurance. The union is now going to take direct action in this matter.
