Fatehgarh Sahib’s young man has died in Canada. The young man has been identified as Harmanpreet Singh, a resident of village Jalla. He went to Canada to study about two years ago. He died of brain vein burst. Harmanpreet’s father Hakam Singh retires from Indian Army

There was a lot of spending in the treatment of the daughter and construction of the house. Hakam Singh took a loan for his son’s better future and sent him to Canada. Meva Singh Tulakheri, the maternal uncle of the deceased, said that the family does not have the money to bring back the body. He has requested help from the Central and Punjab Government. Family members have also sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister through ADC.
Aam Aadmi Party MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai from Fatehgarh Sahib has assured the family of all possible help. He said that he will convey this matter to the Central Government through Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and will help in bringing the body back.
