Female shooter raped in Faridabad hotel (symbolic photo)
A case of rape with a female shooter has come to light in a hotel in Faridabad, Haryana. The victim is a resident of Bhiwani, who had come to Faridabad with her friend to participate in a shooting competition.

After participating in the competition, both of them started walking home. Meanwhile, her friend contacted one of her acquaintances so that she could drop them to the metro station. It is alleged that the friend’s acquaintance, making the excuse of it being late at night, talked about staying in Faridabad and took both the female players to a hotel.
Meanwhile, the friend’s acquaintance also reached there, who raped the female player as part of the entire plan. At the time of rape, the victim’s friend had left the hotel with her acquaintance, saying that she was going out of the hotel.
When both of them returned, the victim gathered courage and locked her friend and the two youths in the room and herself came out and informed the police.
At present, the police have taken action and arrested the victim’s friend and two youths known to her. The report has also been registered. Information is also being collected from hotel staff.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the Women’s Police Station Central.

- Reached Faridabad on Tuesday: According to the complaint given to the police, the victim had reached Faridabad on Tuesday with one of her friends. Both of them took part in the competition going on at Tilpat Shooting Range. Plans were being made to return in the evening after the competition was over. Meanwhile, the female shooter’s friend contacted her acquaintance so that she could be dropped at the metro station.
- The accused arrived on the call of the informant: About half an hour after her friend’s call, Faridabad resident Gaurav reached the spot with his friend Satendra. After this, all four decided that they would stay in Faridabad on Wednesday night and leave for Bhiwani the next day i.e. Thursday.
- Decision to stay in hotel: As per the plan, on Wednesday evening all four took two rooms in a hotel located in Sarai Khwaja area. After this everyone sat together in a room and had a party. Initially the atmosphere was normal and no one had any apprehension of any untoward incident.
- The incident happened as soon as the friend went out: At around 9 pm, the female shooter’s friend went downstairs with her acquaintance Gaurav to collect some things. Meanwhile, Satendra, who was present in the other room, raped the female shooter. According to the victim, she was completely shocked by this incident and immediately somehow controlled herself.
- Gave information to a friend, then the matter reached the police: When the friend returned, the victim went to another room. After this he called one of his close friends and informed him about the entire incident. After some time, the victim gathered courage and locked her friend and the two youths in the room and herself came out and informed the police.
- All three accused including her friend in custody: As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and on the basis of the statement of the victim, took the three accused including her friend into custody. The police have registered an FIR in the case and started investigation. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the incident took place in a hotel room and trust was misused.
Court sent all three accused to jail Police spokesperson Yashpal Singh says that all three accused have been produced in the court today (December 18) and sent to jail. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the hotel staff is also being interrogated. All aspects related to the incident are being investigated.
