Jos Buttler Reaction: The first match of the five-match T20 series being played between India and England was played at Eden Garden, Kolkata. In the match, Team India won by 7 wickets against England under the captaincy of Jos Buttler. Team India, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, won almost unilaterally. The captain of the English team, which suffered defeat in the match, Jos Buttler gave a shocking statement saying that he had not expected any movement in the pitch.
Speaking after the match, England captain Jos Buttler said, “There was a bit of movement in the wicket early on, probably not expected. It looked a really good wicket, they got a bit of movement and we lost a few wickets. But if we come through that phase, then it is a fantastic pitch and obviously a fast run-scoring ground.”
Buttler added, “There were some really good players, we wanted to execute the game we want to play and we weren’t successful in doing that against some good bowlers today, but we are better at run-outs.” And we’re looking for the next one.”
Further talking about Jofra Archer, Buttler said, “He always looks good, he is a superstar, he looks scary. I thought he could have got a few more wickets there. Mark Wood was also bowling fast.
