South Africa defeated England by 125 runs to enter the final of the Women’s World Cup. In the first semi-final match played on Wednesday, South Africa scored 319 runs for seven wickets in 50 overs on the basis of captain Laura Wolvaardt’s century. In reply, the England team could score only 194 runs in 42.3 overs and were all out.

In the first semi-final of the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, South Africa defeated England by 125 runs to reach the final. In the match played on Wednesday at Baraspara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, South Africa scored 319 runs after losing 7 wickets in 50 overs on the basis of captain Laura Wolvaardt’s brilliant century. In reply, the England team was reduced to just 194 runs in 42.3 overs and was all out. In bowling, Marijn Kap performed brilliantly and took five wickets, while Nadine de Klerk took two wickets. Apart from this, Aybonga Khaka, Mlaba and Sune Luus got one success each.
