After the Red Fort bomb blast, only one toe of terrorist Dr Mohammad Omar Nabi and pieces of flesh stuck to the engine parts were found. The rest of the body was blown away in the explosion. The toe was found under the front tire wheel. DNA testing of the pieces of meat found stuck to the claw and engine parts revealed that the deceased was Umar Nabi. Apart from these parts of Umar’s body, the police did not find any body part from the spot. It is believed that the organs that had fallen some distance away might have been eaten by birds and animals. The explosive is said to be kept on the back seat of the car.

Umar’s body parts not being found

A police officer, who was the first to reach near the bomb blast, said that the blast was so powerful that the car was completely destroyed. Some part of the car’s engine was found on the spot. This police officer said that Umar Nabi’s body parts were spread to a distance of 250 feet. The car parts were scattered 300 to 350 feet away. This police officer told that the steering of the car was found in front of the Jain temple. The wall of the Red Fort outpost was also badly damaged by the blast. Police officials say that the rest of Umar’s body parts are not left and if they are left, they are not found. The search for organs is underway.

When the crackdown by security agencies increased in Faridabad, Umar Nabi fled towards Firozpur and Mewat. He had boarded the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Nuh before Halilpur. He kept on running from the night of 9th November till the morning of 10th November. After this he went towards Firozpur. He disappeared here for an hour and then returned. He was coming back to Faridabad from Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. He parked the car on the side near Halilpur Toll on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and slept in the car for 3:15 hours. After this, it descended from Nuh towards Faridabad via Delhi Mumbai Expressway.

Explosives were kept on the back seat of the car

A senior Delhi Police officer said that (in the CCTV footage) a big bag can also be seen kept on the back seat of the car, which is believed to have explosives in it. According to police officials, the explosive was kept in a white colored bag.

The rail of an e-rickshaw passed through a person in the blast.

A senior police officer of the North District said that the staff of Red Fort outpost was present at the outpost when the blast occurred. Outpost in-charge Vinod Nain was also at the outpost. This staff was the first to reach after the blast. It was this staff who first took the injured to the hospital. The policemen saw that the rail of the e-rickshaw of one of the injured had crossed him. The policemen picked him up just like that and took him to the hospital.
