US President-elect Donald Trump has warned the Palestinian militant group Hamas to release the hostages before January 20. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Trump said that it would not be good for Hamas if the kidnapped hostages from Israel were not released before January 20. Frankly, it won’t be good for anyone.
Trump has already asked Hamas several times to release the hostages. Let us tell you that on January 20, Donald Trump will take oath as the 47th President of America.
Talks are continuing between the leadership of Israel and Hamas regarding the release of hostages in Qatar. Regarding this, Donald Trump said-
I don’t want to harm any negotiations, but if an agreement is not reached on the release of hostages before I am sworn in, there will be devastation in the Middle East. Everything will be ruined. I don’t need to say anything else, but that’s it.
Trump has told Hamas that everything will be ruined if the hostages are not released before his inauguration.
Trump said I am getting calls from the families of hostages
Trump further said that the hostages should have been released a long time ago. The October 7 attack should never have happened. People forget it, but it happened and many people died. I am receiving calls from families of hostages in Israel and elsewhere.
People are appealing to me to free their loved ones from the captivity of Hamas. Hamas has also imprisoned some Americans. People come to me crying and saying- Can I bring back the bodies of their children? They threw a beautiful 19-20 year old girl in the car like she was a sack of potatoes.

He further said that I am leaving tomorrow to go back to Doha. But I think we have made very good developments in this matter. I am hopeful that we will have some good news that Trump will announce before Trump is sworn in.

Hamas ready to release 34 hostages
There has been talk in Qatar regarding the release of hostages between Hamas and Israel since last Friday. On Sunday, Hamas said it would release 34 hostages in the first phase of the exchange deal. This includes all women, children, elderly and sick prisoners. Whether they are alive or dead.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked several Israeli areas along the Gaza border and took 254 people hostage. So far, more than 150 hostages have been released, while about 100 people are still in captivity of Hamas. The Israeli Army has confirmed the death of 34 people.
Hamas recently released the video of 19-year-old Israeli female soldier Liri Elbag. Liri was kidnapped on 7 October 2023.
