Maulana Fazlur Rahman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Jui-F), has demanded the government to immediately withdraw the recommendation. He said that how can the person who has supported the attacks on Iran, Palestine, Syria and Lebanon, can be given the peace prize? Fazal also alleged that Pak rulers recommended this after Trump’s meeting with Army Chief Asim Munir.
Trump is not a peace messenger- former MP Mushahid Hussain
Former MP Mushahid Hussain, while criticizing Trump, said that Trump has now become a ‘peace messenger’, but has become a ‘supporter of war’. He demanded the withdrawal of Nobel’s recommendation from the Government of Pakistan that Trump had implicated himself in the clutches of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the War Lobby.

Step on Pakistan’s credibility- Rauf Hasan
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Mohammad Khan also questioned this recommendation and spoke of ‘reconsideration’. He said that the US attack on Iran is an open violation of international laws and nominating Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize is a bang on Pakistan’s credibility.
