US President Donald Trump has so far claimed 14 times that his mediation helped avoid India-Pak war.

The Government of Pakistan nominated US President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. Pakistan says that Trump’s diplomatic initiative and mediation during the Indo-Pakistan war helped avoid a major war.

The Pakistani government said in its official statement that Trump spoke to both New Delhi and Islamabad and played an important role in the ceasefire. This averted the possibility of war between two nuclear power countries.

Pakistan also appreciated Trump’s arbitration offer on the Kashmir issue and said that until the Kashmir is resolved, permanent peace cannot come in the area.

However, Trump said, “No matter how much war I stop, I will not get Nobel.”

Trump said- disputes of many countries settled

US President Trump has claimed that he played a key role in resolving disputes like averting war between India and Pakistan, Russia-Ukraine and Iran-Israel, but he would not get the Nobel Peace Prize.

Posting on ‘Truth Social’ on Friday, Trump wrote, “Whatever I do, I will not get the Nobel Peace Prize. I have entered into a peace agreement with External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio to stop the Congo-Ravanda war. It was a bloody struggle for decades.”

Asim Munir is currently on a tour of America. Hours before his meeting with Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the US President on a phone for 35 minutes. During this time, Modi had clearly stated that after the operation of Operation Sindoor from 7 to 10 May, there was a ceasefire after a conversation between the Indian and the Pakistani forces. Not through any external mediation.
