Dinesh Vijan Confirms Akshay Kumar’s Role In The Third Installment

If you’ve loved Akshay Kumar’s brief cameo in Street 2then there’s some good news to celebrate!

The actor is returning as the villain in the film’s third installment. Street 3Dinesh Vijan, the producer behind the beloved horror-comedy universe, has confirmed it.

On Sunday (January 5), Akshay Kumar attended the trailer launch of his upcoming film. Sky Force in Mumbai. The million-dollar question from the event was whether the actor will be a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe, again.

In conversation with News18he replied, “What can I say? Dinesh and Jyoti (producer) will have to decide that. They’re the ones to pump in the money. And Amar Kaushik has to direct.(And Amar Kaushik will have to direct the film).”

That’s when Dinesh Vijan chimed in, saying, “Of course, he’s a part of the universe! He’s our Thanos.” Dinesh Vijan donned the producer’s cap for Sky Force too.

Movies like Stree, Stree 2 Bhediya, Munjya, and Roohi are backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.

Akshay Kumar’s malicious character in Street 2 created much hype. He was portrayed as the leader at a mental hospital.

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor played the lead in Street 2Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana were a part of the project as well. Besides Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia also made guest appearances.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Street 2 is the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Stree,

Maddock Films recently released a lineup of eight films scheduled to release in the coming years. From Street 3 to Bhediya 2 along with newer additions, the list is enough to make fans happy.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force will release in theaters on January 24, 2025. The action thriller is directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur.
