Legal dispute regarding the film

Some time ago, allegations were made about the film that it was similar to the life of martyr Major Mohit Sharma. Major Sharma’s family filed a complaint in the court that the film appeared to be based on his life without permission. Keeping these objections in mind, Delhi High Court directed CBFC to re-examine the film. After review, the board made it clear that ‘Dhurandhar’ is completely fictional and is not based on any real person. This finally cleared the way for the release of the film.

The longest film of Indian cinema in 17 years

According to reports, the film has received an A certificate and its total duration is reported to be 3 hours 34 minutes 01 seconds – making it the longest Hindi film released in the last 17 years.

The first part is said to be of 2 hours 4 minutes, while the second part is said to be of 1 hour 28 minutes. The music of the film is also attracting a lot of attention. The soundtrack, composed by Shashwat Sachdev, also features modern recreations of old songs like ‘Na Dil De Pardesi Nu’ and ‘Ishq Jalakar’, which have left a huge impact among the youth.
