‘Dhurandhar’, which has created history at the box office after its release in Hindi, is now making a comeback with a bang with the sequel. The film received tremendous love in South India, after which the makers made the official announcement of ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
The film will be released on Eid 2026 on March 19. There will be a simultaneous release in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, making it a true pan-India film.
The first film was released only in Hindi, but it created a craze in South due to social media, word of mouth and repeat viewers. The distributors there had demanded a dubbed version. Now the makers have decided to release in all languages keeping in mind the South and foreign audiences.
National Award winner Aditya Dhar is directing. Jio Studios and B62 Studios are handling the production. The story and action will be shown on a bigger scale than ever before.
The film is currently in post-production and has become one of the most awaited films of 2026. The makers are also planning to release in foreign markets.
