Veteran actor Dharmendra has been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on November 12. He was on ventilator for two days. Doctors reached his home on Thursday evening. At present his treatment is continuing at home. The actor’s close friend and Sholay co-star Amitabh Bachchan also came to meet him on Thursday morning.
Dharmendra had trouble breathing, due to which he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on November 10. He was discharged on 12th November.
Hema Malini asked journalist Subhash K regarding Dharmendra’s health. Told Jha that this time was not at all easy for me. Dharamji’s health is a big concern for us. Their children are also awake all night.
The actress further said, I cannot become weak, I have a lot of responsibilities, but yes, I am happy that he has returned home. We are all relieved that he is now out of the hospital. He should live among his own people. Everything else is in the hands of God. Please pray for us.
Sunny Deol angry at paparazzi
Sunny Deol got angry at the media on Thursday morning. Sunny folded her hands and said to the photographers and paparazzi – “You also have parents and children in your house, don’t you feel ashamed?” During this, Sunny Deol also said some abusive words.
Amitabh Bachchan came to meet Dharmendra the next day after his discharge.
Director Guddu Dhanoa had reached Dharmendra’s house. After the meeting he told that Dharmendra is fine now.

Talking to the media after Dharmendra’s discharge, Dr. Pratit Samdani said that for the last several weeks, the actor was sometimes being admitted to the hospital and sometimes returning home.

The family had appealed for privacy after discharge
After Dharmendra’s discharge, the family appealed for privacy and issued an official statement saying-
Dharmendra ji has been discharged from the hospital and will now rest at home. We request the media and people not to spread any kind of rumor and respect his and his family’s privacy at this time. We thank everyone who prayed for Dharmendra ji’s good health and long life. Please respect them because they love you all so much.
The family had expressed displeasure over the fake news of his demise.
On the morning of November 11, fake news of the actor’s demise came in the media, after which his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini expressed their displeasure.
Isha had issued a statement on social media saying-
The media is spreading completely wrong news. Papa’s condition is stable and he is recovering. We request everyone to respect the privacy of our family. Thank you for praying for Papa’s speedy recovery.
Hema Malini also expressed her displeasure after the news of his death came out and wrote-
What is happening is not forgivable. How can responsible channels spread false news about someone who is responding to treatment and recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible behavior. Please respect the family and their need for privacy.

After the news of Dharmendra’s demise came in the media on Tuesday morning, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had expressed grief on social media. However, he later removed his post.

Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital on 10 November. As soon as the news was received, Bobby Deol left the shooting of the film and returned to Mumbai. Sunny Deol also remained continuously present in the hospital. Esha Deol, Hema Malini also reached the hospital several times. During this time Dharmendra’s family looked very emotional.

Was also admitted to the hospital on 31 October
Dharmendra was also admitted to the hospital on 31 October. Journalist Vicky Lalwani had told in his post that Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to difficulty in breathing. He was kept in ICU. He was discharged within a few hours after all his body parameters were fine.
Earlier this year, Dharmendra had undergone cornea transplant surgery. The transparent layer of his left eye i.e. the cornea was damaged, after which he had a cornea transplant (keratoplasty).
Dharmendra had complained of back pain, muscle strain and weakness several times between 2015-2020. He had to be admitted to the hospital due to back pain and fatigue.
Dharmendra’s film will be released soon
Dharmendra will be seen in the film Ikkis. This film is the story of Arun Khetarpal, a young soldier of the war between India and Pakistan. Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda plays the role of Arun Khetrapal in the film, while Dharmendra plays his father M.L. Khetrapal.
The film Twenty One will be released on 25th December.
