The special court of Delhi has summoned the Director of Enforcement Directorate (ED) Rahul Naveen for not providing important documents to the accused. Additional Sessions Judge Aparna Swamy issued the order when ED Deputy Director Deepin Goyal told the court that the copies provided to the accused were the best copies available with the department.

The court directed the ED Director and Investigating Officer to appear personally and clarify the status of documents provided to the accused. The next hearing in this case will be held on 26 March. The case is related to the ED complaint against Gajendra Nagpal, his wife Sonia Nagpal, Ram Mohan Gupta and his companies.

ED has registered a case against Unicon Securities Private Limited, Unicon Fincap Private Limited, Unicon Financial Intermediates Private Limited, Unicon Real Estate Private Limited and I360 Staffing and Training Solutions Private Limited. The allegations include fraud and forgery associated with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The ED has accused the Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) stockbroker and depository participating Unicon Securities of cheating investors.

According to the ED, about 4,156 investors contacted SEBI since January 2014, under the Money Laundering Act, 2002, prosecution complaint in the case of fraud of 88 crores, which was filed in Patiala House Court in 2022, The documents are still in the stage of examining the documents.
