Delhi Coach on Virat Kohli Ranji Trophy Return: Virat Kohli is going to make a comeback in Ranji Trophy after 12 years. He will play in the Delhi vs Railways match starting from January 30. According to a media report, Kohli has made himself available for the Ranji Trophy, but he will not play in the match against Saurashtra starting from January 23. He had refused to play in the match against Saurashtra citing neck pain. Now the head coach of Delhi team has issued a big statement on their match against Railways.

According to news agency PTI, Delhi team head coach Sarandeep Singh said, “Virat Kohli has contacted DDCA President Rohan Jaitley and the team management and informed that he will be available for the match against Railways. Kohli has made his mark in the history of Ranji Trophy. In the last match played against Uttar Pradesh, he scored 14 runs and 43 runs. Let us tell you that BCCI has made some strict rules for the players. Under the rules, it has become mandatory for all players to play domestic cricket.

Apart from Virat Kohli, many other players will also be seen playing in the matches of the next phase of Ranji Trophy 2024-25. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal will be seen playing for Mumbai in the next match, which will be played against Jammu and Kashmir. Shubman Gill will be seen playing for Punjab in the match against Karnataka. Rishabh Pant has also agreed to play the next match for Delhi, which will be played against Saurashtra. KL Rahul was also going to play for Karnataka in the match against Punjab, but due to elbow injury he will not be able to return.
