Arvind Kejriwal made these demands from the central government
AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘I demand from the central government that the education budget should be increased from 2% to 10%, the fees of private schools should be controlled. Scholarships should be given for higher education. Health budget should be increased to 10% and tax should be removed from health insurance. IT exemption limit should be increased from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. GST should be removed from essential commodities. A strong retirement and pension plan should be made for senior citizens. Senior citizens should be given free treatment in all government and private hospitals across the country. The elderly used to get concessions in Railways earlier, which has been discontinued, it should be started.
