The court has sentenced a unique sentence for a mutual agreement after several FIRs against each other in the triple talaq case. The Delhi High Court has imposed a fine of 20 Neem or A berries on the accused youth for spelling the court’s time on both sides. If the petitioner fails to plant trees, he will be fined 20 thousand rupees.

The court was hearing a petition seeking cancellation of the case registered under the Muslim Women (Protection) Act. The petitioner had claimed that the two families had signed a compromise between themselves, so the case filed in 2019 should be canceled. The court has fined the petitioner along with canceling the case.

Justice Anoop Kumar Mendiratta’s bench recently said in its order that it is nothing else to misuse judicial time and judicial remedies. The petition stated that in March 2018, petitioner Mohammad Rizwan was married to Muslim customs.
He also had a son from this marriage. In August 2019, he was divorced on the phone. After this, a case was registered at Prem Nagar police station on behalf of his wife. The petition claimed that in 2023, the two families signed a mutual agreement after a dispute for nearly five years.
The court said that since both families have signed an agreement out of the court. Its report has been filed by the police. In such a situation, this is nothing but misuse of judicial remedies.
