After Dr. Shaheen’s name surfaced in the Delhi blasts and terrorist conspiracy in Faridabad, Haryana, her former husband Dr. Zafar Hayat has broken his silence. Dr. Zafar is currently posted in Kanpur Medical College. He told that he got divorced from Shaheen in the year 2012 itself.
Dr. Shaheen’s ex-husband Dr. Zafar, posted in Kanpur, told that they were married in the year 2006. This was an arranged marriage; Shaheen had two children with him who live with him. He said that he has no relation with Shaheen after the divorce.
Dr. Shaheen’s ex-husband revealed
Dr Zafar said, “Where does she live, what does she do… I have no idea about this. Neither do my children know anything.” She said that she got divorced from Shaheen in 2012 after six years of marriage, after that she did not know her whereabouts and never kept in touch with him.
He told that she was very liberal, I have never seen much awareness towards religion. Dr. Shaheen’s intention was that we should settle in Australia or Europe. But, I refused to go out. Later we both separated. When we got married, Dr. Parvez was doing MBBS, he did not talk much.
Dr. Zafar said, “I have not told my children everything about Shaheen that we are seeing in the news now. Only she can tell why she did this.”
Elder brother Mohammad Shoaib expressed surprise
After the names of Dr. Shaheen and his younger brother Dr. Parvez surfaced in the Faridabad terrorist module, the reaction of their elder brother Mohammad Shoaib has also come to the fore.
