After scrutiny of nomination papers, the number of candidates has come down to 719. After the withdrawal of nominations on Monday, it will be known how many candidates are in the electoral battle. An official associated with the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi said that the candidates who do not want to contest the elections can withdraw their nominations on Monday. After this it will be known how many candidates are contesting the elections in Delhi.

Maximum 23 candidates are in the fray from New Delhi Assembly constituency. From here there is a triangular contest between former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress’s Sandeep Dixit and BJP’s Pravesh Verma.

Apart from this, 16 candidates are in the fray from Mundka, Rohtas Nagar and Janakpuri, 15 from Laxmi Nagar, 14 from Burari, Adarsh ​​Nagar and Okhla, 13 from Seelampur, Kalkaji, Vikaspuri, Dwarka and Matiala assembly constituencies. At the same time, there are minimum five candidates in Rohtas Nagar.
