Congress has released its fourth list for Delhi Assembly elections. Five candidates have been announced in this. Surender Kumar, Sumesh Gupta, Rahul Dhanak, Virender Bidhuri and Arjun Bhadana have been made candidates from Bawana, Rohini, Karol Bagh, Tughlakabad and Badarpur respectively.
Earlier yesterday, Congress had released a list of 16 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections yesterday. The names of Mundka MLA Dharampal Lakra and councilor Rajesh Gupta, who left AAP and joined the party on Tuesday itself, were also included in it. You did not give ticket to Lakra. Congress has so far released the list of 68 candidates.
In the list released on Tuesday, former Union Minister Krishna Tirath has been fielded from Patel Nagar, former MLA Kunwar Karan Singh from Model Town, Bhishma Sharma from Ghonda and Ariba Khan, councilor daughter of former MLA Asif Mohammad Khan, from Okhla. Areeba is the niece of Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.
Dharampal Lakra has been given ticket from Mundka while councilor Rajesh Gupta from Mubarikpur Dabas ward has been given ticket from Kirari. Congress has changed its candidate from Gokalpur. Here, former councilor Ishwar Bangri has been made the candidate in place of Pramod Jayant.
